November 5, 2024 Election Information
ELECTION INFORMATION
The November General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5th.
· Residents that live in the Village of Orfordville will vote at the Village Hall. Only residents that live within the Village Limits vote at the Village Hall. If you live in the Town of Plymouth, you vote at the Plymouth Town Hall in Hanover. If you live in the Town of Spring Valley, you vote at the Orfordville Fire Station on N. Wright Street.
· Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
· We will be voting in the Village Board room for this election to allow for more space. You will still use the Community Room Entrance to come in, and leave through the board room door when you are finished voting. This will hopefully help with the bottle neck of people that are arriving and leaving using the same entrance, and should help with people not having to wait outside as long.
VOTER REGISTRATION
· You must be a registered voter in the Village of Orfordville to vote here. You can register to vote two ways- 1. Electronically using www.myvote.wi.gov. You will need to provide proof of residence showing you have lived in the village for at least 28 days. 2. You can register in person at the Village Hall Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
· You can check your registration status at www.myvote.wi.gov.
· If you were registered and moved to a different address in the Village limits, you will need to update your voter registration to the current address. Please bring proof of residence with you.
· If your name has changed, you will need to update your voter registration to reflect your new name.
· Expect a delay if you chose to wait until Election Day to register to vote. October 16th is the deadline to have your name preprinted in the poll book. If you register by October 16th, your name will be preprinted in the poll book which will save you time. You can still register after October 16th; however, your name will have to be added to the back of the poll book.
ABSENTEE VOTING

If you are using the paper application, you have to show us your ID when you bring the application in.
