CALLING ALL SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS & ENTREPRENEURS:
The Orfordville Economic Development Committee would like to invite you to attend our WEDC and Rock County Grant & Funding Opportunities Informational Meeting.
JUNE 20th 6pm at the Orfordville Village Hall - 303 E Beloit St in Orfordville, WI
This meeting is open to all local business owners & (aspiring & current) entrepreneurs in the Rock County area.
The meeting will consist of the following information:
Our regional Representative, Jason Scott, from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will be on site to discuss many of the grants and funding opportunities that are available to both new & existing businesses / business owners. They may also discuss current WEDC initiatives.
Some grants may only be available to businesses (and potential businesses) located in an official Connect Community. (Directory attached) *Orfordville is a Connect Community.
Rock County Economic Development Director, James Otterstein, will be on site to discuss grant and workforce initiatives in Rock County.
Information about the Rock County Business Development Resource available at local libraries will be provided.
Information regarding the Orfordville Business Park Lots & open spaces for rent in Downtown Orfordville will be provided.
Each attending business will receive an Orfordville ‘New Business’ welcome kit with Business Park Information, open spaces available for rent info, the Orfordville EDC Facade Grant program info & application, and other Orfordville & WEDC business resources.
Light refreshments will be available during the meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other small business owners, ask questions about existing and future grant programs, meet with our regional WEDC representative, meet our Rock County Economic Development Director, and get to know the Orfordville EDC.
