Regular Board Meeting

Monday, October 11, 2021  7:00 p.m.

CALL TO ORDER

                President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present were President Phillips, Tina Suiter-Meyers, Beth Schmidt, Cami Myers-Alstat, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox.   Also present were Chief Brian Raupp and Clerk Sherri Waege.

AGENDA VERIFICATION

                Clerk Waege verified that copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Orfordville Post Office.  There were no additions made to the agenda.

MINUTE APPROVAL

                Motion by Gerber, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to approve the September 27, 2021 Regular Board Meeting minutes.  Motion carried.

CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD

                Knox explained that the ATV/UTV signs came today.  They will get them up soon.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

                None.

NEW BUSINESS

                Resolution R-2021-16 approving Election Wards.  Motion by Knox, seconded by Tuffree to adopt Resolution R-2022-16 which approves the designation of Ward 1 and Ward 2 and approves the block numbers based on the 2020 Census data.  Motion carried.

                Contract for Cell Tower at the Water Tower.   President Phillips explained that Attorney Oellerich made the changes based on discussion at the September 27, 2021 meeting.  Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to approve the Contract with Tower North Development LLC for a tower for Cellular Service on Clark Street on the parcel with the  water tower.  Motion carried.   Clerk Waege will get a clean copy of the agreement from Attorney Oellerich for signing.

DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS

                Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Schmidt to approve the Department Head Reports.  Motion carried.

VOUCHERS

                Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Gerber to approve vouchers for $97,077.21, check range of 33670-33702.  Motion carried.

ADJOURN

                Motion by Knox, seconded by Schmidt to adjourn at 7:22 p.m.  Motion carried.
