CALL TO ORDER
Village President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were President Phillips, Beth Schmidt, Cami Myers-Alstat, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox. Also present were Attorney Michael Oellerich, Glen Johnson, Chief Brian Raupp, DPW Director Nick Todd, and Clerk Sherri Waege. Absent was Tina Suiter-Meyers.
AGENDA VERIFICATION
Clerk Waege verified that on October 22, 2021 copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Orfordville Post Office. There were no additions made to the agenda.
MINUTE APPROVAL
Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to approve the October 11, 2021 Regular Board Meeting minutes. Motion carried.
CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD
None.
VILLAGE PRESIDENTS UPDATE
President Phillips explained that Rock Road is still working on the streets. Curb work and final grading should be done this week, with blacktopping to follow. The sewer lining project should be completed this week. President Philips added that he spoke with the Village Engineer and advised that the spring construction bids will go out in November.

NEW BUSINESS
Planning Commission recommendation for Glen Johnson variance. Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to accept the Planning Commission recommendation to grant a variance to Glen Johnson to be allowed to have a three-foot side yard setback for an attached garage at his property at 502 N. Maple Street. Motion carried.
TREASURER REPORT
Motion by Knox, seconded by Myers-Alstat to approve the September Treasurer Report. Motion carried.
VOUCHERS
Motion by Gerber, seconded by Myers-Alstat to approve the vouchers for $107,870.65 with a check range of 33744-33771. Motion carried.
CLOSED SESSION
Motion by Gerber, seconded by Schmidt to go into closed session at 7:07 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85(1)(g) to confer with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved-specifically to discuss the undeveloped portion of N. Maple Street that is being used by the owner of the property at 604 N. Maple Street. Roll Call Vote-Schmidt, Myers-Alstat, Gerber, Tuffree, Knox, and President Phillips-all YES. Motion carried.
Reconvene. Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Gerber to reconvene into open session at 7:47 p.m. Roll Call Vote-Schmidt, Myers-Alstat, Gerber, Tuffree, Knox, and President Phillips-all YES. Motion carried.
No action was taken on items discussed in closed session.
