CALL TO ORDER
President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were President Phillips, Tina Suiter-Meyers, Beth Schmidt, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox. Also present were Taylor Stuehler, Librarian Sarah Strunz, DPW Director Nick Todd, Chief Brian Raupp, and Clerk Sherri Waege. Absent was Cami Myers-Alstat.
AGENDA VERIFICATION
Clerk Waege verified that on January 7, 2022, copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Post Office. There were no additions made to the agenda.
MINUTE APPROVAL
Knox requested a correction to the minutes in regards to the bid approval for Street projects. Knox requested that Clerk Waege removed the statement that says “much lower than others.” Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Gerber to approve the minutes as amended for December 27, 2021. Motion carried.
CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD
None.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
November 2021 Treasurer Report. Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to approve the November 2021 Treasurer Report. Motion carried.
Taylor Stuehler Fundraiser at the Park. Taylor Stuehler was present to explain that she would like to use the park and pavilion on Saturday, July 9th for the annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser for childhood cancer. Stuehler explained that she would like to have food trucks and vendors with a similar setup like they had at June Days last year. Stuehler further explained that they will have bouncy houses, a disc jockey, raffles, and a bake sale. Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Schmidt to approve the use of the park for Taylor Stuehler for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fundraiser on July 9, 2022. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Draw Names for Ballot Placement for the April Election. The five candidates for Village Trustee will appear on the ballot in the following order: 1. Terry Gerber, 2. Don Cox, 3. Chuck Boyce, 4. Jason Knox, and 5. Dennis Burtness.
DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS
Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to approve the Department Head Reports. Motion carried.
VOUCHERS
Motion by Gerber, seconded by Schmidt to approve the Vouchers with a range of 34028 TO 34060. Motion carried.
ADJOURN
Motion by President Phillips, seconded by Gerber to adjourn at 7:10 p.m. Motion carried.
