Special Board Meeting

CALL TO ORDER

                President Dennis Burtness called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.  Present were President Burtness, Beth Schmidt, Nikki Tuffree, and Terry Gerber.   Also present were Zach & Sarah Knutson, Chief Jeremiah Burdick, DPW Director Nick Todd, and Clerk Sherri Waege.  Absent were Cami Myers-Alstat, Chuck Boyce, and Jason Knox.

AGENDA VERIFICATION

                Clerk Waege verified that on October 25, 2023, copies of the agenda were emailed to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Orfordville Post Office. There were no additions made to the agenda.

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR 309 AND 311 TERI LEE LANE

                Clerk Waege explained that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit for 309 and 311 Teri Lee Lane for Zero Lot Line Duplexes.  Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Schmidt to approve the Planning Commission recommendation to grant a Conditional Use Permit for NG Mill Valley Construction for Zero Lot Line Duplexes at 309 and 311 Teri Lee Lane.  Motion carried.

REVIEW 2024 BUDGET

                Clerk Waege reviewed the 2024 Budget.  There is a deficit of $39,760.00.  Discussion was held to balance the budget for 2024.

SET PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR THE 2024 BUDGET

                Motion by Gerber, seconded by  Schmidt to set Monday, December 4, 2023 as the Budget Public Hearing Date at 6:00 p.m.  Motion carried.

ADJOURN

                Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to adjourn at 7:27 p.m.  Motion carried.
