Regular Board Meeting

Monday, February 8, 2021  7:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER

                President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present were President Phillips, Tina Suiter-Meyers, Chuck Boyce, Beth Schmidt, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox.  Also present were Dennis Burtness and Clerk Sherri Waege.

AGENDA VERIFICATION

                Clerk Waege verified that on February 5, 2021, copies of the agenda were provided to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Library, Orfordville Post Office, and the Village Hall. There were no additions made to the agenda.

MINUTE APPROVAL

                Motion by Boyce, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to approve the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of January 25, 2021.  Motion carried.

CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD

                None.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

                None.

NEW BUSINESS

                Subordination Agreement for Community Development Block Loan 0004 for housing improvements.  Clerk Waege explained that the recipients of CDBG Loan 0004 are refinancing their mortgage.  The Village has to agree to continue the CDBG Loan as a second mortgage for the refinance.  Motion by Gerber, seconded by Schmidt to authorize Clerk Waege to sign the Subordination Agreement for CDBG Loan 0004 so the existing mortgage can be refinanced and CDBG Loan 0004 will remain as a second mortgage on the refinanced mortgage.  Motion carried.

DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS

                President Philips explained that he notified the department heads and told them that they did not have to attend as it was a lite agenda.  President Phillips further explained the media release for the Police Department for an incident in Footville on February 5th.  Motion by Boyce, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to approve the Department Head Reports.  Motion carried.

VOUCHERS

                Motion by Suiter-Meyers, seconded by Schmidt to approve the vouchers with a check range of 32851-32898.  Motion carried.

ADJOURN

                Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Gerber to adjourn at 7:15 p.m.  Motion carried.
