Regular Board Meeting

CALL TO ORDER
Village President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were President Phillips, Beth Schmidt, Chuck Boyce, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox. Also present were Attorney Michael Oellerich, Chief Raupp, DPW Director Nick Todd, and Clerk Sherri Waege. Absent was Tina Suiter-Meyers.
AGENDA VERIFICATION
Clerk Waege verified that on March 19, 2021, copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Post Office. There were no additions made to the agenda.
MINUTE APPROVAL
Motion by Knox, seconded by Schmidt to approve the March 8, 2021 Regular Board Meeting minutes. Motion carried.
CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD
None.
VILLAGE PRESIDENTS UPDATE
President Phillips explained that he spoke with AJ Becker from Sonic. President Phillips explained that Becker is planning on starting again next week. Becker will be down at the end of Church Street and working west.
President Phillips explained that there will be a Special Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 30th to discuss refinancing and borrowing for a street project with Ehlers & Associates.

NEW BUSINESS
Agreement between the Village of Orfordville and Thomas & Hayley Pendell for maintenance of Outlot 2 of the Paulson Addition. Attorney Oellerich provided a draft agreement for the board. Attorney Oellerich explained that he will give it to the Pendells once the board reviews it. Attorney Oellerich explained that Outlot 2 is located to the east of Pendells property, it is not a buildable lot, and contains utility easements. The Pendells have indicated that they would like to continue to maintain it as they have in the past and do additional landscaping on the outlot. Knox suggested that they agreement also include the approval of planting shrubs or bushes. Oellerich will add that and language addressing putting permanent things in the utility easement. Motion by Knox, seconded by Boyce to approve the preliminary agreement with the additions of the shrubs/bushes and utility easement language. Motion carried.
Developers Agreement between the Village of Orfordville and Jack McDermott for Lot 1 of the Business/Industrial Park. Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to table to the March 30, 2021 Special Board Meeting. Motion carried.
VOUCHERS
Motion by Boyce, seconded by Tuffree to approve the vouchers for $21,450.92 which is for checks 32955 and 33009-33032. Motion carried.
ADJOURN
Motion by Boyce, seconded by Knox to adjourn at 7:12 p.m. Motion carried.
