VILLAGE OF ORFORDVILLE

Annual Board Meeting

Tuesday, April 19, 2022   7:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER

                President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present were President Phillips, Chuck Boyce, Cami Myers-Alstat, Dennis Burtness, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox.  Also present were Interim Chief Jeremiah Burdick, DPW Director Nick Todd, and Clerk Sherri Waege.  Absent was Beth Schmidt.

AGENDA VERIFICATION

                Clerk Waege verified that on April 18, 2022, copies of the agenda were emailed to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, Post Office, Bank of Brodhead and on the Village Website.  There were no additions made to the agenda.

RESOLUTION R-2022-01

                President Phillips handed out the Resolution For Committees and Appointments.  Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Burtness to approve Resolution R-2022-01 to set the Committees and Appointments.  Motion carried.

VILLAGE PRESIDENTS UPDATE

                President Phillips explained that the road repairs will continue through the summer.   The project on N. Center Street is waiting on storm sewer pipe, which will hopefully come in this week.   The S. Richards Street project will start in July, the intersection of N. Mowe and E. Church Street may start at the same time.

                President Phillips added that the Public Works Department is busy doing upgrades to Parks including new signs.
