CALL TO ORDER
President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were President Phillips, Tina Suiter-Meyers, Cami Myers-Alstat, Beth Schmidt, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox. Also present were Attorney Michael Davis, Dennis Burtness, Tim Kienbaum, Les McCracken, Jim Shumway, Chief Brian Raupp, and Clerk Sherri Waege.
AGENDA VERIFICATION
Clerk Waege verified that on April 23, 2021 copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Orfordville Post Office. There were no additions made to the agenda.
MINUTE APPROVAL
Motion by Suiter-Meyers, seconded by Gerber to approve the minutes of the Regular Board Meeting of April 12, 2021 and Annual Organizational Meeting of April 20, 2021. Motion carried.
CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD

VILLAGE PRESIDENT’S UPDATE
President Phillips explained that he has nothing to add as it was all brought up at the Annual Organizational Meeting last week.

NEW BUSINESS
Tree Planting Request of Les McCracken. Les McCracken and Jim Shumway were present to request permission to plant a tree in the village in memory of former employee Russell Sharp. McCracken explained that Sharp was a great neighbor and friend to all. McCracken further explained that he spoke to Margie Sharp and she recommended a white oak which was Russell’s favorite tree. McCracken will seek donations to pay for the tree. President Phillips suggested that the tree be planted in Stavn Park as the Sharps lived on E. Hamblett Street. Clerk Waege explained that she told McCracken that the Village will provide a plaque for the tree that states it was planted in memory of Russell Sharp. Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to approve McCracken’s request to plant a tree in memory of Russell Sharp at Stavn Park. Motion carried.
IWORKS Building Permit Software. Building Inspector Tim Kienbaum was present to request the village purchase the IWORKS software for tracking building permits. The software will track projects, approval, payments, and inspections. Motion by Gerber, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to approve the request to purchase IWORKS software for $2,5000.00 per year. Motion carried.
Maintenance Agreement with Thomas & Hayley Pendell for Outlot 2, adjacent to the Pendell’s in the Paulson Addition. Discussion held on the agreement. The Pendell’s would like the agreement to be less restrictive when it comes to landscaping, plantings, and installing fencing or sheds. No action was taken.
Delete Ordinance 14-11 Public Safety Committee. President Phillips explained that the Public Safety Committee was created by Russell Rucker when the Village needed to update the Emergency Plan. Chief Raupp explained that he and former Chief Steve Ryan updated the plan based on the county’s template and felt the committee was no longer necessary. Motion by Gerber seconded by Schmidt to delete Ordinance 14-11 which provides for a Public Safety Committee. Motion carried.
March and April Treasurer Reports. Motion by Tuffree, seconded by Schmidt to approve the March and April Treasurer Reports. Motion carried.
VOUCHERS
Motion by Gerber, seconded by Tuffree to approve the vouchers for $26,334.48, check range 33106-33134. Motion carried.
