VILLAGE OF ORFORDVILLE

Regular Board Meeting

Monday, August 9, 2021  7:00 P.M.

CALL TO ORDER

                President Gary Phillips called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.  Present were President Phillips, Tina Suiter-Meyers,  Beth Schmidt, Cami Meyers, Terry Gerber, Nikki Tuffree, and Jason Knox.  Also present were Attorney Michael Oellerich, Jeff Porter, Chief Brian Raupp, DPW Director Nick Todd, Librarian Sarah Strunz, and Clerk Sherri Waege.

AGENDA VERIFICATION

                Clerk Waege verified that on August 6, 2021, copies of the agenda were delivered to the President and Trustees; and posted at the Village Hall, Library, and the Orfordville Post Office.  There were no additions made to the agenda.

MINUTE APPROVAL

                Motion by Knox, seconded by Gerber to approve the July 26, 2021 Regular Board meeting minutes.  Motion carried.

CITIZENS WISHING TO BE HEARD

                None.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

                Sign Agreement for ATV/UTV use in the Village.   Attorney Oellerich reviewed the changes that were brought up at the last meeting.  Motion by Gerber, seconded by Schmidt to approve the Sign Agreement with the Western Rock County ATV/UTV Club.  Motion carried with Suiter-Meyers voting no. 

                Treasurer Report.   Clerk Waege explained that she is waiting on Workhorse Software to fix an issue that she is having with reconciliation.  Clerk Waege brought the June statement to the meeting to make available to the board.   No action was taken.

NEW BUSINESS

                Extension for Lot 15 for Sollberger Enterprises LLC.   Jeff Porter from Sollberger Enterprises LLC was present to request an extension to start his project.   Porter provided the Village Board with a letter from  Cleary Builders to show that he is on their schedule to hopefully start in October.   Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Suiter-Meyers to extend the start date in the Developers Agreement to October 15, 2021.  Motion carried.  Attorney Oellerich will amend the Developers Agreement to reflect the extension.

DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS

                Motion by Knox, seconded by Tuffree to approve the Department Head Reports.  Motion carried.

VOUCHERS

                Motion by Knox, seconded by Tuffree to approve the vouchers for $65,245.04 with a check range of 33454 to 33509.  Motion carried.

ADJOURN

                Motion by Gerber, seconded by Knox to adjourn at 7:17 p.m.  Motion carried.
